ABOUT ARTIST:

Born in 1981 Tehran Ramin Shirdel is an Iranian artist and architect. originally trained as architect at Tehran Art university, he always has been enthusiastic to experiment interdisciplinary ideas through different medium, materials and scales. The notion of movement and spatial experience have structured his works in architecture, sculpture and paintings.
In 2010 he started creating a new series of work by incorporating words in Farsi language with sophisticated architectural form making technics, which led him to brought out a type of personal way for poetry in the language of sculpture. From that time His 3d sculptural words have become transformational forms which render philosophical, mystical and poetic concepts in layered, colorful fluid shapes.
